We’re just a family who fell in love with miniature long haired Dachshunds
Hi There! Our names are Blair and Emma Lemke and we are registered breeders of reputable, pedigree miniature long haired dachshunds. We are located in the Hunter Valley (NSW, Australia), but our puppies have been adopted by loving homes all over Australia and internationally.
It all started with our shaded cream girl, Marlow. With the most placid temperament, golden cream locks, dark eyes and nose—we fell in love.
Although she was (and still is) firstly a member of our family, she is secondly the mother of beautiful, world-class, pedigree puppies.
We now have 3 dams in our breeding family. Marlow and her two daughters: Ruby and Maple. Both Ruby and Maple are homed with families who have fallen in love with the breed as much as we have.
The girls throw mostly cream pups, but we also get reds, black and cream, chocolate and dapple. It all depends on the Sire we breed with.
We pride ourselves on being ethical breeders who take care of both mother and puppies like they’re family members. Each dam is well rested and cared for in between litters and has a litter quantity limitation placed on them.
We are ANKC registered breeders and only breed with other ANKC registered dogs, to ensure the ethics and purity of the breed remains in tact.
In addition to pairing our girls with reputable Sires that are genetically sound (disease free and well formed), we have two main priorities when breeding: the temperament of the puppies and finding them good homes.
Temperament
We look carefully at the temperaments of the Sires we pair our Dams with. They must match the beautiful, friendly and placid natures of our girls. When it comes to owning a pet

We believe that a crucial part of ethical breeding is having a screening process so we can confidently place each puppy in a home that will give them suitable care and love them as much as we do.
